The second annual Bronx Summit is being held at the Andrew Freedman Home on The Grand Concourse on Sept. 23 from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
This event, founded by Bronx residents Jason Acosta and Kevin Brooks, is meant to bring Black and brown professionals who are from the Bronx or connected to the borough to network and encourage each other no matter what stage a person may be in their passion.
“I never really seen myself reflected in industries, and industries … I mean the ones we are highlighting in Bronx Summit: Tech, media, health care,” says Acosta.
Acosta says they want those who come out to hear the more than 30 panelists see just how impactful the Bronx is.
