The Sankofa African American Museum made a pitstop in Charleston on Sunday to showcase African American history to the community.
Museum curator Angela Jennings said this exhibit is an important way of educating everyone on the history of African Americans. She and visitors to the museum said that the exhibit that is filled with photos, art and artifacts invokes many emotions.
