The North Carolina Black Film Festival is produced by the Black Arts Alliance Inc., (a non-profit and registered 501c3). The festival is a four-day juried and invitational festival of independent motion pictures by Black filmmakers. Also, the festival features films on subjects of Black life, urban culture and Black history, showcasing shorts and documentary films. Trophies will be awarded in each category.
