Moms of Black Boys United (M.O.B.B. United) marked its 10th anniversary Saturday by hosting an informational event highlighting historically Black colleges and universities at the Staten Island Urban Center in Tompkinsville.
The gathering celebrated the organization’s decade-long mission of supporting young Black men and their families while encouraging them to explore educational opportunities at HBCUs. Students and families connected with HBCU graduates, educators and community leaders to learn about college admissions, scholarships, career pathways and mentorship opportunities.
