LeMoyne-Owen College in Memphis is on the short list of Historically Black Colleges and Universities (HBCU) that will offer student scholarships up to $10K for next school year.
The Thurgood Marshall College Fund and Nike have combined to offer financial assistance to 95 outstanding students.
Eligible recipients must be a full-time student and a freshman, sophomore, junior or senior at a selected HBCU during the 2024-2025 academic school year.
Qualifying students also must have a cumulative G.P.A of 3.0 or higher and must be able to demonstrate a financial need. They also must have the 2024-2025 FAFSA on file at the selected college by time of the selections.
