An art exhibition titled, “Black Excellence: A Legacy in Color,” will be on view at SUNY Ulster starting Wednesday, Feb. 4, the college announced. The exhibition, described by the college as a “collective celebration of Black artistry across media,” will run through Friday, Feb. 20, at the Muroff-Kotler Visual Arts Gallery at SUNY Ulster, 491 Cottekill Road.

The exhibition was curated by Sam Goldberg in collaboration with SUNY Ulster’s Black Student Union, the announcement said. The exhibition spans multiple artists, mediums, and perspectives, honoring the works of Black artists for Black History Month.

Participating artists include Hadassah Graham, Ted Dixon, Lamar Leonard, LotuZ, Jenne Currie, Jacqueline Oster, Marielena Ferrer-Harrington, Linda Rose-Winters, Jaidus, and Richard Price.
